Security Through Bail Bond Supervision

Security will be provided by licensed bond agents employed by Hope House and trained to work with Hope House residents.

As part of a Plea Agreement, Hope House will not accept a client unless the Court imposes an unsecured surety bond or minimal cash bail pursuant to New York State Criminal Procedure Law section 510.10(5), on the client. Imposition of the bond or bail will allow a bond agent trained by Hope House to safely and calmly return a client to court should the client no longer wish to remain at Hope House or where the client violates the program rules. Hope House will also employ a trained team to provide security at its facility 24 hours a day. All residents will also be required to wear a monitoring device while enrolled in the program.
